Dendrochilum Magnum BS

Dendrochilum Magnum is also called The Large Dendrochilum. It is a medium-sized, cool growing epiphyte species. It blooms on an apical, wiry, 50 cm long, the fragrant flowers arising in rank and file occurring in the spring and fall. The flowers are light brown, quite large for Dendrochilums, they produce a pleasant aroma. The upper sepals are erect, oblong-lanceolate, pointed. The lateral sepals are also oblong-lanceolate, with a sharp tip. Petals ovate to lanceolate, pointed, with serrated margins. The three-lobed lip is concave, its lateral parts triangular, pointed, with denticles along the edges. Some leaves have black spots which are not found to be infectious.
