It is a medium-sized, warm growing epiphyte species with each narrowly ovoid, slightly smooth pseudobulb carrying a single, fleshy, oblong, apically shortly blunt-pointed leaf with the base narrowing to a short petiole. It has a long inflorescence enveloped by a few large sheaths, and the drooping, densely many-flowered rhachis is long and has flowers that do not open widely.
