Dendrobium Chrysocrepis is called The Golden Slipper Dendrobium. It is a small-sized lithophyte or, rarely, epiphyte species. The plant has narrow, lanceolate leaves that grow alternately along the pseudobulbs. The plant blooms in the spring and summer on a slender, short, single-flowered inflorescence carrying short-lived flowers. The petals of both whorls are golden-yellow. A sabote, or pear-shaped sabre, is dark yellow or orange, and on the inner side it is densely covered with reddish hairs.
