Cattleya Bicolor is a medium to large-sized, cool to warm growing species that produces highly fragrant, long-lived flowers. The flowers are colored from olive-green to olive-brown, measuring 7-9 cm in diameter. Petals are in the form of something in between a rhombus and an egg, wavy along the rim. Lip in the form of a spoon, the side parts are missing, colored from pink to carmine red, and under the column there are often bright strokes and the inner part of the lip is white. These are species plants, please do not expect them to have fleshy psudobulbs and canes like the hybrid Cattleyas.
