Angraecum Sesquipedale is a natural monopodial orchid species endemic to Madagascar, developing long strap-like leaves and producing magnificent 15–20 cm star-shaped white flowers with exceptionally long nectar spurs and a powerful nocturnal fragrance. Preferring intermediate to cool conditions with bright filtered light, it remains one of the world's most celebrated botanical orchid species.
