Dendrobium Ypsilon is a mini-miniature-sized, hot-growing epiphyte species with erect, wide, flattened, thin, succulent-like, very branched stems carrying, in the apical portion, 1 to 3 oval leaves that bloom in the spring and summer on a short, arching to pendulous, 1 to 5 flowered inflorescence arising from the nodes or at the apice of mature leafless stems.
