It is a medium-sized, hot growing epiphyte, which produces white with maroon-colored star-shaped flowers with an attractive white lip. It blooms in spring on an arching, many-flowered inflorescence with a fractiflex rachis that is longer than the leaves with small triangular, concave floral bracts and fleshy, fragrant flowers.
