Robiquetia Cerina  (commonly called the "Merry Pineapple" orchid, and taxonomically synonymous with Robiquetia cerina var. merrillii) is a striking monopodial epiphyte native to the warm, humid lowland forests of the Philippines. True to its whimsical common name, this vanda-ally orchid produces dense, pendulous, cone-shaped inflorescences packed with dozens of tiny, waxy blooms that bear a uncanny visual resemblance to upside-down pineapples. The individual flowers—often vibrant shades of golden yellow, orange, or reddish-pink depending on the variety—emerge from thick, leathery leaves arranged in two neat ranks along a single stem. Thriving in warm temperatures, high humidity, and bright, indirect light, it is a beloved collector's plant prized for its long-lasting, geometric floral clusters that bloom throughout the warmer months.
