Bulbophyllum Facetum is an epiphyte species on tree trunks in shady locations with well spaced ovoid, pseudobulbs with persistent basal bristles carrying a single, apical, oblong to elliptic, leathery petiolate leaf that blooms on an erect, long, basal, single bracted inflorescence carrying a single flower that opens in the morning and closes by early afternoon only to reopen the next day.
