Cattleya Maxima is a natural epiphytic orchid species native to Ecuador and Peru, recognized for its robust unifoliate pseudobulbs and tall flower spikes carrying numerous fragrant blooms measuring 10–15 cm. The lavender, lilac, or white flowers are enhanced by a dramatic ruffled lip with deep purple and yellow markings. Grown in bright, warm to intermediate conditions, it is an outstanding specimen for species Cattleya collections.
