The Brassocattleya Luk Ton Nodosa is a popular orchid hybrid, created from a cross between Brassavola nodosa and Cattleya Rustic Spots. This breeding results in a highly fragrant, star-shaped flower that is relatively compact and vigorous, making it an excellent choice for beginner to intermediate growers. The petals and sepals typically display a color in the creamy green to pale yellow range, often maintaining the slender, "spidery" structure inherited from the Brassavola nodosa parent. The most striking feature is the large, prominent, funnel-shaped lip, which is predominantly white or pale pink and heavily adorned with numerous dark pink to red spots that give it a "sparkling" or dusted appearance. True to its parentage, the plant inherits a wonderful, sweet scent.
