The clone 'New Trick' holds an HCC/AOS, a Highly Commended Certificate from the American Orchid Society. It is a selection of Cattlianthe Magic Bell, registered by Armacost in 1984 from Cattlianthe Trick or Treat and the Brazilian species Cattleya loddigesii, which carries waxy, long-lived flowers on stems about 30 cm tall. Our photos show it in apricot-orange with a yellow lip. Best for collectors who want an awarded clone and can give it bright light.
