Phalaenopsis Liu's Cute Angel crosses Phalaenopsis Jiaho Cherry with Phalaenopsis lobbii, a dwarf species from India's own north-east, Sikkim and Bhutan, and was registered by Hwa-Tung Liu in 2008. Half lobbii, a species whose own flowers are only 2 to 2.5 cm across, it stays a small plant, and our photos show white to soft-pink flowers with a broad magenta-red lip. Best for windowsill growers and anyone short of space. Think twice if you want large flowers: this is a miniature.
