Cattlianthe Taiwan Sunset is a primary hybrid of two species: Guarianthe aurantiaca of Mexico and Central America, which carries clusters of orange or yellow flowers, and the fragrant Cattleya maxima of Ecuador and northern Peru. Chiang Ko Chin registered it in 2021, and our photos show the clone 'Yuan Dung' in orange with red on the lip. Best for growers with bright light who like species-like Cattleyas. Think twice if your want the same colour hue in every bloom.
