Coryanthes Macrantha is a species also called The Bucket Orchid. It is a large-sized, hot growing epiphyte that blooms on a basal inflorescence arising on a mature pseudobulb that carries large, waxy, fragrant flowers smelling strongly of mint held well below the plant and occurring in summer. The color is usually yellow to orange with small freckles along with some parts of the flower, mainly inside the "bucket".
