Dendrobium Loddigesii is a popular miniature-to-small species native to Laos, Vietnam, and southern China. It is famous for its distinct creeping or "mat-forming" growth habit, featuring slender, pendulous pseudobulbs covered in white sheaths. In the spring, it produces a spectacular display of long-lasting, fragrant flowers that appear large relative to the plant's size. The blooms are a beautiful lilac-pink with a prominent, round, fringed orange-yellow lip that is edged in white, giving it a striking "fried egg" or "sunburst" look.
