Miltassia Shelob 'Tolkien' is a hybrid between two epiphytic South American orchids, Brassia Edvah Loo and Miltonia Olmec. It produces dramatic spikes of flowers with lots of spotted, spidery petals and sepals in mahogany and green tones, with a pink lip dappled with dark brown spots. The flowers are mildly fragrant.
