Thrixspermum Centipeda is a miniature orchid that's also known as the centipede Hairseed. This orchid has thick, fleshy leaves that are oblong and bilobed at the tip. The flowers are arranged on a pendulous or arching stem. They are about 1.5 inches wide and only last 2 to 3 days. However, the plant can bloom 2 to 3 times a year. The flowers look like spiders, and the array of bracts looks like centepedes, thus inspiring the species name.
